Frequently Asked Questions

Will my price rise if I'm on a monthly rolling plan?

It’s a common misconception that monthly rolling contracts equate to price rises. While we cannot guarantee that we’ll never increase your price (as it’s sometimes out of our control if our carrier partners increase pricing), we can say that our clients who have been with us since we started selling broadband 3 years ago have not yet seen their price increase! We will always give you at least 30 days notice if your price will increase. The last few times that our upstream carriers implemented price increases, we simply absorbed the increase ourselves rather than passing it onto customers. 

Can I use my own Router?

Absolutely. In fact, when ordering, you have the option of ordering a router through us or using your own. Please note though that we’re unable to assist with any troubleshooting or configuration of your own routers. We can only support our own routers, but you are free to use your own if you wish. All of the information that you’ll need to use your own router will be available to you in your client portal after your order is committed. 

Why can't I order online?

We are working on it! We hope to make it available very soon, so watch this space (although do feel free to email us in the meantime and we’ll process your order)!

Can I order more than 1 IPv4 Address?

Yes, we can offer you an additional 4 usable addresses or an additional 6 usable addresses. Please note that you will be asked to confirm your intended use case as required by RIPE NCC. These are chargeable and we can provide you with the exact cost when you contact us (pricing can vary).

What is Zarro SafeNet?

Zarro SafeNet is a free service that we offer exclusively to our Broadband customers. It is simply a content filter that works 24/7/365 to protect you from scams, phishing and malware. It is not used to block any adult material or replace any parental controls. 

What is the difference between Install and Migration?

Install refers to the installation of a brand new line to your premises, and requires an engineer visit. A migration typically takes over en existing line at your premises and does not require an engineer visit. Migrations are often free, while installations are not. Note that even if we show an install or migration price on our website, we may deduct this from your invoice if our carriers are offering free installs (it can happen from time to time)!

Sorry to hear that! First of all, check below to see if there are any known outages on the Openreach network for your area. If not, please begin troubleshooting by rebooting your router. If you don’t have any luck doing that, switch off your router and leave it for 10 minutes before you turn it back on. If that hasn’t fixed it, then please get in touch and we’ll get you back online in no time! What a relief 😮‍💨!
